Minute Professor YouTube Series
Production team, Editor, Motion Graphics, Sound Design
The idea to put professors on the spot about their expertise was born when my colleague, Monica DeMeglio, had seen a live presentation where researches had to describe their work in a minute or less. This series is a perfect example of a successful content marketing campaign in that they are fun "bite sized" videos that people enjoy (binge) watching while they learn about great research. It also positions Ohio State as being an expert in various fields from mosquitos to diverse medical teams. Lastly, professors receive recognition while being viewed as interesting and fun to prospective students.
In 2019, the Minute Professor series won a Gold CASE award from the Council for Advancement and Support Education in the category of Best Video Feature - Short.
